The Taalas model-as-silicon bet is the most fasicnating thing in hardware right now because it forces you to quatify model stability in a way no one has done rigorously. If your deployment model shifts every 6 months with better checkpoints, etching it into silicon is economic nonsense. If you're running a stable billing copilot at 10B tokens/day, the trade starts making sense. The question is how many enterprise workloads actually have that stability profile.
